How to order and pay

The Genus Clematis can be purchased directly from Magnus Johnson's nursery by submitting an order from this site and making an electronic payment through your bank.

You may also send cash (on your own risk) preferably after an e-mail contact.

We want to make the cost for the book transparent and specify all components instead of raising the price for the book itself.

The price for the book is SEK 300 (approx. USD 42, or EUR 35) plus postage, packaging, our money transfer cost and (only for European Union citizens) 6% sales tax (VAT). Our bank charges us the cost for transfer of money from a cheque to our bank account in Sweden, SEK 130. For this reason payment by cheque is a very expensive method.

It is important that the delivery address follows the payment to reduce the risk of sending the book to the wrong address.

It is important to know that EUROCHEQUES are NOT accepted in Sweden.

A second factor influencing the price is how many books are delivered in the same parcel. Postage is the sum of a base part plus a weight dependent part. If several books are sent in the same parcel, cost is reduced substantially. Please contact us on e-mail bengt@hallf.kth.se to get information about the cost. The prices are based on current postage that may be changed by Swedish mail.

Companies in the European Union with a VAT registration number shall use special tables and give us their VAT-number on the order form. We send books with an invoice to companies after e-mail contact to bengt@hallf.kth.se. If you want to pay in an alternative way please contact us on the same address.

Procedure:

1) Choose a table depending on country and VAT status.

2) Check the price for the number of books you want to order in one parcel.

3) By clicking that amount you are transferred to a pre-ordering form where you are supposed to fill in your address and some additional data. This form gives us the correct address in case the cheque or bank payment does not transmit all data to us. If you give us the e-mail address it is possible for us to take contact if there is some question to resolve.

4) By submitting the form, a pre-order is registered and an order number is generated. The order is formally accepted when payment has been received. We suggest that you bring a printout of the pre-order confirmation sheet to your bank as a note for the bank transaction. The address of the company is given.

Our IBAN account number is SE36 5000 0000 0535 4100 3774 and the BIC code is ESSESESS.
Important: Payment must be done in SEK (Swedish crowns).
(Customers in Sweden can use either "postgiro" or "banköverföring" at no cost.)

5) When we have received the payment, the book(s) will be shipped in some days. The shipment may take some week(s).

Note: It is also possible to reduce the bank cost by paying several individual orders (to be sent as separate parcels) in one bank transaction. Several order numbers would then be attached to the same money transfer and the amount paid must be the sum of "parcel" prices. For residents of the United States, payment by personal cheque in USD is also possible, see order form below.
